Robotime DIY Crafting Club Meetup in Barcelona Spain

On a Sunny afternoon in Barcelona, Spain, Wendy, a DIY crafter, organized a fan meetup for passionate makers and puzzle enthusiasts. From the moment it was announced, people indicated interest, with 18 people confirming that they would love to meetup. The objective wasn’t just to build kits; it was to meet with fellow DIY enthusiasts in person, chat with them, and create memories together.

The meetup was attended by 23 creators, some of whom came with their close friends and family members.

The Event Startup

Robotime Builders Fully Focused As The Creative Process Gets Underway at The Barcelona MeetupA lot of DIY builders started the event with curiosity and anticipation because many people did not know how a piece fits and how the LED lights could be connected. Wendy assisted in answering every question and she was able to instruct the rest by offering them easy steps to follow. Other more seasoned creators intervened to help and in a few minutes, the room was filled with warmth, joy, laughter, and stories.

Every DIY creator chose among the Christmas-themed kits: Candy Stand, Santa-on-Sleigh, and Christmas Town. As they focused on their build and shared tips, the kits were slowly taking shape. The atmosphere was focused and informal, and the pleasure of creativity was clear. There were lots of ‘click-click’ sounds and the ‘aha!’ moment when a skilled hand was able to put pieces in their place.

Creativity that Connects Hearts

The Barcelona meetup was a reminder that crafting is not just about completing a model; it’s about connection. These DIY creators used the happiness, collective laughter and practical creativity to make small miracles.

Voices of the Creators

Kristie, a DIY explorer for the first time, was one of the creators at the meetup. She built the Rolife Christmas Candy Stand. She reflected:

“I had a great time! I had no experience at all, so I was pretty slow, but I had so much fun. Big thanks to Wendy for organizing the event!”

Meri, another DIY creator, built the Rolife Christmas Town and relates experience of how it went:

“It was an amazing experience. I never made any build, but I loved it. I think this is only the beginning of a new great hobby. Thanks, Wendy, for organising the event!!”

Kevinitus, another DIY builder who had no experience, admits that the meetup was fun.

“It has been great participating in the Spain-meetup robotime WORKSHOP with Wendy.”

Andriu, a DIY creator, who was also present at the meetup, relates:

“I could make my first little house in miniature. I really enjoyed the experience; it was not very difficult for me, and I would love to make another miniature. I hope I can go to another event soon.”
