In December 2025, ROKR fans in Melbourne, Australia, came together for something truly special - a fan meetup that celebrated craftsmanship and human connection. Organized by Tricia, an expert DIY crafter and a community star, the ROKR DIY Crafting Club meetup unfolded across two sessions. Each of the sessions reflected the heart of what ROKR stands for: building not mere models but moments that matter.

Welcome posters, along with Tricia’s builds, as welcome for the events.
Two Sessions, One Shared Passion
The Melbourne meetup was divided into two sessions to allow more fans to participate and experience ROKR’s DIY spirit in a relaxed setting.
First Meetup: Building Connections Through Craft
The first meetup was held on the 6th of December. Although the weather wasn’t friendly, two participants joined Tricia to make it successful. Participants arrived as individuals but quickly became collaborators: sharing tools, ideas, and laughter as they worked with ROKR models.
What stood out most was how naturally conversations flowed and how participants were assisted. The other participants, Theresa and Carmen, had fun while building ROKR puzzles. Having the right tools handy made the experience a seamless one. Theresa’s husband also provided them with a helpful tool for aligning parts when connecting pieces together. The session perfectly captured the essence of ROKR products.

However, some participants didn’t show up for the meetup. Hence, Tricia organized a second meetup.
Second Meetup: Deepening Community and Shared Joy
The second meetup was held on 10th December. Like the first one, this session was built upon the strong foundation of the first. The weather was beautiful, and although there were 5 cancellations, more people turned up. The sense of community grew stronger.

The warmth in the room was unmistakable and unforgettable. Smiles, focus, and genuine enthusiasm filled the room, reinforcing how ROKR kits connect people.
Why This Meetup Matters to ROKR
At ROKR, we believe our wooden models are not mere intricate designs; they are experiences and connectors of people. The Melbourne fan meetup beautifully demonstrated how our products:
- Bring warmth and calm in a fast-paced world
- Encourage face-to-face interaction in a digital age
- Create moments of happiness, pride, and togetherness
- Foster inclusive communities where creativity thrives
Seeing fans connect, relax, and genuinely enjoy the process of building together demonstrates why we do what we do.

Looking Ahead: More Than a Model, It’s a Moment
The ROKR Fan Meetup in Melbourne stands as a meaningful milestone for our global community. It showed that when people gather around creativity, something powerful happens; friendships form, stress fades, and joy takes shape piece by piece.
We look forward to seeing more community-led meetups around the world and continuing to support spaces where creativity, connection, and happiness can grow. We know that the fan meetup in Melbourne was only the beginning, and more are yet to come.
Because at ROKR, every build tells a story.
