Product Details
1. Storybook Structure With Japanese Street Scene The model's transparent front cover opens like a book, encouraging interactivity. Inside is a nostalgic and immersive Japanese street scene with moving elements. 2. Motorized Motion Three parts of the scene exhibit movement: the backdrop, the tram, and a boy on a scooter followed by a cat. The model's electronics are powered through a USB Type-C connection (cable not included). 3. Multiple Display Possibilities The model can stand either cover-facing-out or side-facing-out, functioning as both a bookend and a standalone display piece. The two transparent sides show off the assembly's layered scenery and mechanics. The cover also acts as a dust protector. 4. Touch Button Activation A single power switch is located on the top of the model. Tap once, and the model activates lights, music, and movement. Tap again, and the music stops, but the lights and movement remain. A double-tap halts movement but retains music and lights. A long press turns the power off. 5. Advanced 5-Star Challenge With a 5/6 difficulty rating and an estimated eight-hour build, the model offers advanced builders a detailed and rewarding mechanical project.
Designer's Journey
ROKR presents a familiar slice of life with this mechanical puzzle depicting a typical sun-drenched day on the streets of Japan. The scene is calm, the layering inviting, the lights warm, the colors soft. The model's mechanics encourage you to discover your creativity and problem-solving abilities, allowing you time to focus and achieve. The message is clear and effective: slow down, enjoy life. That its execution is a mechanical puzzle that takes around eight hours to finish is simply perfect, as the build process itself becomes the very thing the model is asking you to do. In the end, what you're left with isn't just a finished puzzle, but a permanent invitation to pause.
